My Wonderland...

Stuck in a doll house...


A quick question...
The was a book I read when I was little, about a girl who fell out of a tree and hurt herself;
she had to stay in bed for months and was given a doll house.
When she got better her legs and grown at different lengths...
Some days she went through the forest with her dolls and i think her cousin...


I always thought the story was called 'The doll house'
I can not find it when searching...
so if anyone knows any more information about it, it would be greatly appreciated.

My vintage yellow dress - for my 19th.
It's very sheer, but as suggested by the owner of the retro store;
whilst looking at my bright pink knickers in the change room,
a nude slip works great!

I made this dress for a 'Fabric Manipulation' assessment for college - I did shirring.
It's super cute, I can't wait to make more in many different colours with different decorative features.

Voluminous Knit...

This second brief was for an olive green corporate garment with a voluminous cream wool garment over the top..

My Design is a green dress, fitted to the body with godet's inserted.
The knitted piece is a fitted shrug with large knitted roses covering it!

My Green Couch...

I fell in love with this couch and chair the second i saw it.

with it being my favourite colour, a beautiful rich velvet and a retro style i adore it.

they where $95 for the two.

Old to New...

I purchased a desk and rack from the tender centre for the bargain price of $35

After spraying them white they looked much, much better...
with a 'shabby chic' look.

the desk still needs another coat of pait, but this will have to wait for anthother unocupied day.

I have recently started Fashion college, and have been having a blast at it.
I have made many new friends - this has made the scary experience of a new place and new people much, much easier...
Though I am always happy to have my best friends; which have been there fore me for many years.
Many of us take friends for granted, though when really cherished they can be a great source of inspiration and praise.

A rose by any other name would smell as sweet...

This nursery is about 3hrs from where I live, and it is somewhere my family and I always stop off at when travelling south. Situated behind an old, run-down fuel station; it is the most amazing site to see. And it has the most beautiful roses, which have the most magnificent scent .

We always buy approx. 2 bunches of roses, and they last for days and days...
lighting up, and beautifully scenting the room.



There is also a maze made of hedges and a huge pond filled with lily's.

This place is such a delight...
